We have heard of University’s giving out free iPad’s but Dublin City Uni will be giving their freshman’s free ChromeBooks,  becoming the first European higher-education institution to adopt Google’s device.

The Google ChromeBook for Education partnership is said to support the University’s commitment to make 80 percent of its classes partially or fully online by 2013, allowing coeds to work from home, or more than likely in bed with a stinking hangover.
